Posener Knabenchor (Boys' Choir)

Born: 1945 - Poznań, Poland

The Posener Knabenchor (Poznań Boys' Choir; Poznaner Knabenchor) is one of the most famous European boys' choirs and is directed by the composer and conductor Jacek Sykulski. The choir has been recognized several times by the Ministry of Culture of Poland as a National Heritage Site, whose origins date back to 1945. Continuity, tradition and innovation are brought into harmony in the artistic and educational work and are trademarks of the boys' choir, which can be experienced worldwide with classical and contemporary programs of choral music, world premieres and renowned musical partners.
