Zimmermann Band is a London-based Early Music orchestra and vocal consort. Founded in 2018 by
Christopher Jeanes, this ambitious young ensemble is in its second year and so far, has performed music ranging from Monteverdi to J.S. Bach.
2020 plans include a reconstruction of Compline under the Sarum Rite (with Sheppard's colossal antiphon Media vita and Tallis' Lamentations) in February, Dietrich Buxtehude's Membra Jesu Nostri in Holy Week, and J.S. Bach's Motets and J.S. Bach Advent Cantatas in Summer and Christmas respectively. |
