Performing in an unusually small line-up for the usual concert business, the up-and-coming singers' ensemble Vokalzirkel presents itself as a solo sound collective with an excellent line-up that explores and makes audible the possibilities of vocal music, from the sensitive intimacy of chamber music sounds to the majesty of choral sound power. All singers have made a name for themselves both as soloists and in renowned choirs across Europe and would like to realize their passion for chamber music together in this ensemble.
With guest conductors such as Yuval Weinberg (director of the SWR Vokalensemble Stuttgart) and Gerd Guglhör, the Vokalzirkel works on a broad repertoire that includes baroque works as well as contemporary pieces.
The ensemble's commitment was supported by the Bavarian government with an innovation grant and by the Konzertgesellschaft München e. V. rewarded with a sponsorship prize. |
