Studium Aureum (Vocal & Instrumental Ensemble)

Founded: 1999 - Palma De Mallorca, Spain

Studium Aureum is a vocal-instrumental group that works on early music in all its manifestations.

Its composition is very flexible, the staff is based on the repertoire to be performed, in this way, Studium Aureum is made up of vocal and instrumental soloists, a stable staff of instrumentalists that adapts to the works to be performed, the Cor de Cambra Studium, artists from the world of dance and theater and a technical and production team when setting up operas and shows.

One of the most relevant contributions of Studium Aureum is the proposal of a line of shows that unites music with dramatic performances, providing staged versions of operas, oratorios, secular cantatas... which, without a doubt, are a way of recreating the music of these times in a spirit more suited to its historical and dramatic content. These always innovative proposals have combined creativity with imagination as a bet for artistic expression.
