Seoul Solacium Choir (Chamber Choir)

Born: 2023 - Seoul, South Korea

Seoul Solachium Choir (Korean: 서울솔라치움합창단) is a professional choir founded in 2023 centered on alumni of Seoul Theological University's church music department who went through the a cappella choir. Solacium, which means consolation, was chosen as the name of the choir.

Seoul Solachium Choir is conducted by Professor Hokyung Kim, who has been teaching students at Seoul Theological University for a long time. It aims to glorify God by doing so.

For this purpose, they plan to present a wide range of choral works from the repertoire from the Renaissance to the present day on stage, and also select and sing gracious praise works to convey emotion and comfort to the audience.
