Ramat Gan Symphony Orchestra (Symphony Orchestra)

Founded: 2003 - Ramat Gan, Israel

The Ramat Gan Symphony Orchestra, which is sponsored by the Ramat Gan Municipality, was founded in 2003 by composer and conductor Dr. Alex Wasserman, who also serves as the director of the New Ramat Gan Music Center.

The orchestra, which has about 60 musicians, started out as a youth orchestra and over the years became a professional orchestra. The orchestra includes soloists, musicians and singers, as well as outstanding young soloists.

The repertoire of the orchestra includes a rich and interesting repertoire of symphonic repertoire - from classics to contemporary music, as well as a repertoire of classics for children.

The orchestra performs regularly in concert series held at the Yahalom Theater and the Ramat Gan Theater, and conducts series of concerts for children and at various music festivals in Ramat Gan and throughout the country. It operates under the auspices of Ramat Gan Mayor Mr. Israel Singer
