The native Italian-American tenor, Stefan Eric Price, was a member and soloist of the Tölzer Knabenchor (2003-2014), and made guest appearances at the State Operas of Paris, Munich, Berlin, Zürich and the Lyrik Opera Chicago. He received his vocal training from Hartmut Elbert and at the Studied at Hochschule für Musik und Theater München (October 2013-June 2022) from Professor Andreas Schmidt (Master in Concert Singing). He also graduted from the Christian Gerhaher and Gerold Huber's Lied class at the same institute. He is also studying Baroque cello with Kristin von der Goltz in the Bachelor's program in historical performance practice. Master-classes with Ian Bostridge, Christiane Iven, Ruth Ziesak, Julian Prégardien, Axel Bauni et al. complement his musical training. He is recipient of the Fritz-Wunderlich-Stipendiums and scholarship holder of the Oscar und Vera Ritter-Stiftung.

During his studies, Eric Price took on roles in the university's opera productions such as Tamino in W.A. Mozart's Die Zauberflöte, Male Chorus in Benjamin Britten's The Rape of Lucretia, Nemorino in L'Elisir d'amore and Fenton in Die lustigen Weiber von Windsor. In 2021 he sang the title role in Georges Bizet's opera Le Docteur Miracle at the Prinzregententheater München and made his debut at the Innsbrucker Festwochen der Alten Musik in the role of Josennah in Johann Mattheson's the opera Boris Goudenow.

Eric Price works as a soloist at home and abroad. His wide-ranging repertoire ranges from Baroque to modern in concert to opera. He regularly works with renowned orchestras and ensembles such as Barockorchester L'arpa festante, Concerto Köln, Münchner Rundfunkorchester, Münchner Symphoniker, Le Cornet Noirs, as well as with Collegium Vocale Gent (Director: Philippe Herreweghe) and other renowned ensembles. He has already worked as a soloist with internationally renowned conductors such as Kirill Petrenko, Philippe Herreweghe, Andrea Marchiol, Ivan Repusic and Marcus R. Bosch.

A sought-after concert soloist, the cantatas and passions of J.S. Bach, as well as J. Haydn's Schöpfung and F. Felix Mendelssohn's Lobgesang belong to his extensive repertoire. He was able to make a name for himself in a short time, particularly as Evangelist, and gave concerts, among other things, in the Herkulessaal in Munich. He also regularly gives Lieder recitals with his duo partners. Most recently he made his debut in the Lieder duo with Emanuel Roch at the Filarmonia Romana in Rome and organized a Lieder recital in Schloss Elmau.
