Brice Petersen (Choral Conductor, Organ)

Born: USA

The American choral conductor and organist, Brice Petersen, obtained his BME degree in Music Education, Applied in Organ Performance from Wartburg College (1982-1986). He later studied Organ Performance with Dr. Charles Echols at St. Cloud State University (1988-1989). He obtained his Master of Sacred Music degree in Music Performance from Luther Seminary (2011- 2013).

September 1995 to July 2013, Brice Petersen served as Organist and Director of Choirs at St. James Lutheran Church, including the following choirs: Grace A'Plenty (Auditioned Choral), Jubilation Ringers (Adult Handbell), Celebration Ringers (Youth Handbell). Since August 2013, he serves as Director of Parish Music at Zion Lutheran Church in Hopkins, Minnesota, including: Organist, Director of Sanctuary Choir, Festival Ringers and contemporary groups Desert Voice Band and Living Faith; oversee all music at Zion.
