Chee-Yong Park (Choral Conductor)

Born: South Korea

The Korean choral conductor, Chee-Yong Park (Korean: 박치용), majored in composition and vocal music at Seoul Arts High School, and has been recognized for his solid ability as a musician to the point of entering and graduating from Seoul National University's Department of Music. He took his first step as a choral conductor starting with Seoul University of Music Concert Choir. Then, in 1989, he founded the Seoul Motet Choir, the only private professional choir in Korea, together with people with a passion for music. The Seoul Motet Choir is increasing in depth every year with the dedication and passion of conductor Chee-Yong Park.
