The Madrigal Singers (Vocal Ensemble)

Founded: 1965 - Israel

The Madrigal Singers Ensemble (Hebrew: זמרי המדריגל), under its musical management and the direction of Dor Magen, was founded in 1965 by Ozit Zdrojevich - its conductor and musical director until 2015. The ensemble was then conducted and managed by Itay Berckovitch (February 2015-2023). Its uniqueness is that it is known as a small, high-quality ensemble specializing in the performance of acapella music, and for years it was the only one of its kind in Israel. The ensemble has many concerts throughout the country, at the best festivals and on the elite stages, including collaborations with instrumental ensembles and soloists.
