Helene Lerch (Harpsichord, Organ)

Born: Germany

The German hasrpsichordist and organist, Helene Lerch, studied historical keyboard instruments with Bradford Tracey at the Hochschule der Künste Berlin and with Colin Tilney in Toronto. This was followed by postgraduate studies with Ton Koopman and Tini Mathot at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in Den Haag.

Since then, Helene Lerch has been doing a lot of concerts as a soloist and continuo player in Germany and abroad. As a harpsichordist and organist, she played in Baroque operas and orchestral projects, at festivals and international tours, in radio (Bayerischer Rundfunk) and CD recordings, including with the Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin, Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, Lautten Compagney Berlin (Director: Wolfgang Katschner), Münchener Kammerorchester, Südwestrunfunk (SWR) Sinfonieorchester Baden-Baden & Freiburg, Dresdner Barockorchester, Barockorchester La Banda, La Stravaganza (Director: Siegbert Rampe), and Parnassi musici
