Ryan Dye (Organ, Choral Conductor)

Born: May 1973 - USA

The American organist and choral conductor, Ryan Dye, holds degrees in religion and business from Walla Walla University as well as a Bachelor of Music and Master of Musica degrees in organ performance from the University of Washington, where he studied with Carole Terry, Douglas Cleveland, and J. Melvin Butler.

From 2000 to 2013, Ryan Dye served as Minister of Music for the historic All Pilgrims Christian Church in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle. During his time in Seattle, he also served a term as Dean of the Seattle Chapter of the American Guild of Organists and chaired the 2009 Region VIII Convention in Seattle. From 2016 to 2018, he was organist and later Canon for Music just down the street at St. Michael's Episcopal Cathedral in Boise, Idaho, where he directed two adult choirs and oversee all aspects of the music program. Since 2018, he serves as Minister of Music at First Presbyterian Church in Boise, Idaho. He enjoys teaching, skiing and exploring the beauty of Idaho with his wife Heather. Heather is a professional singer and elementary school music teacher. Together they have two Children: Palmer and Magnolia.
