Jesús Ramiro Chinetti (Choral Conductor)

Born: Fray Luís Beltrán, Santa Fe, Argentina

The Argentinean choral conductor, Jesús Ramiro Chinetti Acosta, studied at the Escuela de Música de la Facultad de Humanidades y Artes (UNR) since 1996, obtaining degrees in Piano (Professor Licia Bernard de Parodi: 1996-1999), Choral Conducting (Professor Néstor Zadoff: 2000-2004) and Musical Composition (Professor Jorge Molina: 2001-2005). He attended a large number of Courses and Seminars: Improvement in Choral and Orchestral Conducting, with Maestros such as Cristián Hernández Larguía, Vilma Gorini de Teseo, Carlos Cuesta, Alberto Balzanelli, Fernando Ciraolo, Juan Rodríguez and Jorge Rotter among others; Composition of Choral Arrangements with Maestros such as Eduardo Ferruadi, E. "Chino" Correa and V. Tabbush, among others.

Jesús Ramiro Chinetti began his activity as a chorister and Assistant Director of Mtro. M.A. Solagna, since 1995 in Coro Estable de Fray Luis Beltrán, and since 1998 in the el Conjunto Ars Nova de Rosario. Associated with the Acta Fundacional de ADICORA (Córdoba, March 2003), he has been in charge of almost twenty choirs. Some of them founded by him and which he still directs, such as the Coro de Niños del Teatro Verdi in the city of Cañada de Gómez, and the ambitious project Grupo de Estudio Coral Rosario Música Verbali, awarded with a Special Mention in the Concurso ANSILTA 2010, and belonging to the group of choirs specialized in polyphony "La Sociedad de los Cuatro Coros" founded by Maestro Cristián Hernández Larguía in 2007.

But the bulk of Jesús Ramiro Chinetti's experience in the field of conducting, he has been in charge of prestigious institutions already founded, such as the Coro Juvenil del Conjunto Ars Nova de Rosario, continuing the work of Maestro Marcelo Stocco (1999-2007); the Coro del Club Gimnasia y Esgrima de Rosario, continuing the work of Maestro Néstor Mozzoni (2001-2003); Agrupación Vocal Abierta de Cañada de Gómez. continuing the work of Maestro Miguel Angel Solagna (since 2001); the Coro Anselm Clavé del Centre Catalá de Rosario, continuing the work of Maestro Mario Zeppa (since 2014); and perhaps the highest responsibility acquired so far, the conduction between 2012 and 2014, of the Coro Universitario de la Ciudad de San Juan, a rented organization with a large and constant protocol agenda for Cappella and Choral-Symphonic, continuing the work of teachers such as Lucía Vallessi , Guillermo Tessone, and of course, its legendary founder, Maestro Juan Argentino Petrachinni. Since July 2019, he is the Principal Artistic Director of the Coro Estable de Rosario (CER).

Currently and since 2002 Jesús Ramiro Chinetti is part of the teaching staff of the Escuela de Música de la Facultad de Humanidades y Artes (UNR) for the Degree in Choral Direction. He currently lives in Rosario, Santa Fe, Argentina
