Pascal Beauvineau (Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Arranger)

Born: France

The French clarinetist, Pascal Beauvineau, obtained his Bachelor of Music degere 1985; then received the gold medal from the C.N.R. of Paris in the class of Richard Vieille. After a first prize of the city of Paris in 1991 in the bass clarinet class of Jean Marc Volta, he perfected his skills with Guy Deplus (first prize of the city of Paris in 1992), Roland Simoncini, Michel Arrignon and François Sauzeau.

After having occupied the position of principal clarinet of the European Symphony Orchestra for two years, Pascal Beauvineau joined the la Musique de l'Air in 1992, then joined in 1993, the Orchestre de la Garde Républicaine with which he made several tours in Japan. He regularly plays in various orchestras such as the Orchestre National d’Ile-de-France, Ensemble Itinéraire (conducted by Pascal Rophé), Orchestre Philharmonique de Monte-Carlo, Ensemble Orchestral des Hauts de Seine (conducted by Laurent Brack). Since 2008, he has held the position of solo bass clarinet in the Orchestre Pasdeloup.

His discography includes numerous recordings: Monographie monograph Albert Roussel with the l’Orchestre National d’Ile-de-France (conducted by Jacques Mercier), a record of various pieces with the Orchester Symphonique d'Europe (conducted by Olivier Holt), several records with the Republican Guard Harmony Orchestra (conducted by Roger Boutry, François Boulanger and Sébastien Billard), as well as the operetta Le Financier et le Savetier by Offenbach with the Orchestre Pasdeloup (conducted by Jean-Christophe Keck).

Pascal Beauvineau has accompanied artists such as: Maurice André, Eric Aubier, Fabrice Millischer, Guy Touvron, Nemanja Radulovic, Sergei Nakariakov or Allen Vizzuti. He is a member of the clarinet quartet Quatour Edison. His versatile training allowed him to take an interest in the bass instruments of the clarinet family, and more particularly the basset horn, an instrument much appreciated by W.A. Mozart.

Pascal Beauvineau, holder of the State Diploma of clarinet teacher since 1990, teaches at the Conservatoire Municipal de Courbevoie.
