Mark Beasom (Bass)

Born: June 1954 - La Jolla, Caifornia

The American bass, Mark Beasom, was born in La Jolla, and grew up in Claremont, California. He studied at Cal State Long Beach, Citrus College in Azusa, California and and California State University in Fullerton. He has been a member of the Los Angeles Master Chorale since the 1983-1984 season. He has been singing with Los Angeles Opera since 1986, appearing in over 100 productions with the company. He has also performed with I Cantori, Los Angeles Chamber Singers, Early Music Ensemble of Los Angeles and Musica Angelica Baroque Orchestra, and he is a soloist with Pasadena Pro Musica and La Cañada Presbyterian Church Chancel Choir & LCPC Orchestra (Director: Jack Lantz). He has sung in many film soundtracks and on a number of recordings. He currently lives in Lives in La Canada Flintridge, California.
