Gilead Bar-Elli (Piano)

Born: Israel

Gilead Bar-Elli (Hebrew: גלעד ברעלי) is Professor of philosophy at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. His main fields of interest are in Analytic Philosophy, Philosophy of Logic, Philosophy of Language, Philosophy of Mind, Music (classical) and Philosophy of Music. He has a special interest in the philosophies of Frege and Wittgenstein. He has also published and taught in other areas of philosophy.

Gilead Bar-Elli is also a pianist and lecturer on music. For several years he has given private concerts in his home in Jerusalem. Many of these concerts were accompanied by lectures, which were the basis of his book on L.v. Beethoven's piano sonatas and of some papers, one can find in his website. Many of these concerts were recorded and are availably for listening in his YouTube Channel.
