The Ba Rock band performs Baroque music in a way that is engaging and relevant to today's audience. They are faithful to the original score, playing the original music and singing in the original languages. But at the same time we take artistic freedom with the plot and the staging of the piece.

An artistic concept by Ehud Shapiro and an original and sometimes provocative staging by opera director Shirit Lee Weiss turn the hundreds-years old comic text and magnificent music into a contemporary satire on relationships and power struggles in today’s family, work and political environment.
