Ensemble Instrumental Amadeus (Chamber Orchestra)

Founded: 2007 - France

It was as part of the activities of the Comité d’entreprise d’Amadeus that the Ensemble Instrumental Amadeus was founded in 2007 under the leadership of employees with a passion for music. The ensemble's dual vocation is to accompany, on the one hand, the Chœur Amadeus ir during various concerts and events in the Alpes-Maritimes (Festival de Saint Jean Cassien, Fête de la musique), but also to present small instrumental works. various training.

The Ensemble Instrumental Amedeus is a chamber orchestra based in Sophia-Antipolis giving concerts in the Alpes-Maritimes and the Var. The chamber orchestra is a small symphony orchestra, they rehease every wednesday at lunch time on the main site. They are 16 musicians rehearsing every week to play a nice set of classical pieces that have been chosen by the orchestra members. In 2017-2018 season they had 5 concerts during the year, in Valbonne, Cannes, Roquebrune-sur-Argens with some pieces from Tchaïkovski, Dvorak, Rossini. They had the opportunity to accompany soloists either from the orchestra itself or even professionals like the flute teacher of Nice Conservatory. The director of the ensemble is Julien Caron.
