Johann Christian Teubner was born the son of Christian Teubner (baker in Mylau). He enrolled at the Thomasschule in Leipzig on June 2, 1734; and studied there from 1734 to 1740. Although he attended the Thomasschule during J.S. Bach's tenure, it is not known if he actually studied with him. |
