Friedrich Gottlob Reichel (Bach's Pupil)

Born: November 14, 1725 - Windischleuba, Thuringia, Germany
Died: not determined

Friedrich Gottlob Reichel was born the son of Gottlieb Daniel Reichel (Pastor in Windischleuba). He enrolled at the Thomasschule in Leipzig on July 30, 1739; and studied there from 1739, since July 17, 1738 already as external. Although he attended the Thomasschule during J.S. Bach's tenure, it is not known if he actually studied with him.
