The American bass, Matthew (Matt) John Zatkow, obtained his Bachelor of Music Education degree from Ohio State University (August 2013-2017); his Master of Music degree in Voice Performance & Literature from Eastman School of Music, University of Rochester (July 2018-May 2020); and his Certificate in Advanced Musical Study in Opera from Carnegie Mellon University (2021-2022).
Matthew Zatkow has sung the role of Don Giovanni in W.A. Mozart's Don Giovanni (Eastman Opera Theatre, April 2019); Opera selections at Bravo Nights (Opera Guild of Rochester, January 2020). He also participated in Eastman School of Music: Bach Cantata Series (BWV 30, October 2019). In October 2020, he opened his own an online music studio. Since March 2022, he is Music Teacher at Musicologie. He curretly lives in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. |
