Emmanuel Vistorky (Baritone)

Born: France

The French baritone, Emmanuel Vistorky, studied singing at the age of 15 at the Ecole Nationale de Musique d’Epinal. After his gold medal, he entered the Maîtrise de Notre-Dame de Paris and specialized in the repertoire of early music.

Early on, Emmanuel Vistorky collaborated with internationally renowned ensembles such as Gilles Binchois, Alla Francesca or Diabolus in Musica with whom he explored the richness of the medieval repertoire. In the Baroque repertoire he has worked for more than 10 years with Le Concert Spirituel (Director: Hervé Niquet) in many stage productions, Akadêmia Ensemble (Director: Françoise Lasserre) and Ensemble Pygmalion (Director: Raphaël Pichon) with which he performs the German Baroque repertoire, but also Douce Mémoire, Ensemble Jacques Moderne (Director: Joël Suhubiette) or more recently Le Poème Harmonique in the Italian repertoire.

Contributing to more than thirty recordings with all these ensembles, Emmanuel Vistorky has recently finished with the ensemble Faenza a CD of the composer De Negri (Édition Agogique, September 2014) on bass arias with bastarda and a new volume pieces of the Notre Dame de Paris school with Diabolus in Musica (Édition Bayard Musique, September 2014).
