Matthew Tyree (Baritone)

Born: Oxford, Alabama USA

The American baritone, Matthew Tyree, is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in music at the University of Alabama, where he studies with Paul Houghtaling. He was recently seen on the University of Alabama Opera Theatre stage as Papageno in W.A. Mozart's Die Zauberflöte (February 2021), as Melisso in George Frideric Handel's Alcina (October 2021), and as Melchior in Gian Carlo Menotti's Amahl and the Night Visitors (December 2021).
