Barbara Tišler (Soprano)

Born: 1973 - Kranj, Slovenia

The Slovenian soprano, Barbara Tišler, studied at the Conservatory Vič-Rudnik Ljubljana with Marjan Trček, at the Hearing Conservatory Ljubljana with Zlata Ognjanovič and Irena Baar, and since 1999 at the Salzburg’s Mozarteum with Professor Elisabeth Wilke. She has also participated in master-classes with Leopold Spitzer, Kurt Widmer, Leonardo De Lisi, and Peter Kooy (Seminar of Performance Practice of J.S. Bach’s Works 2001 Leipzig).

In 2002 Barbara Tišler received the 3rd Prize for singing at the XIII International Bach Competition in Leipzig.
