Michel Serpeaud (Bass-Baritone)

Born: France

The French bass-baritone, Michel Serpeaud, won gold medal for singing at the Conservatoire de La Rochelle in 1980. He moved to the South West for Paris where he became a student at the l'Ecole Normale de Musique. Following this classical training, he participated in numerous singing competitions in the provinces and abroad. In the competition the city of Bordeaux or that of Pau, through competitions Verdi (Milan), Maria Callas (Athens), he won several awards that attest to his passion for singing. He then left the heavy atmosphere of competitions for the pleasures of the stage.

Michel Serpeaud has appeared as a soloist in many concerts and recitals with orchestras. Without abandoning the scene, he is also dedicated to the teaching of music (six years of National Education) and music composition. He writes for audiovisual projects of Italian television, RAI ...

In 2007 Michel Serpeaud founded in Aix en Provence Musica Bulles, a school for singing, the aim is to discover, develop, and encourage only the French singers. He was appointed Director of this structure in January 2008. In October 2008, he sang and recorded BWV 56 by J.S. Bach for bass, a musical work entirely devoted to the deep voice..In 2009 he made an entry into politics as his running mate is a list of electors "unlabeled" Municipal Elections in Aix en Provence 12 and July 19, 2009, to defend the culture associations in this city. The same year he reached the number of 30,000 listeners in five months on his MySpace page.

Michel Serpeaud has also a passion for Hergé's work and tennis.
