The American soprano, Samantha Scantlin, obtained her Bachelor of Music degree from Friends University (2017-2021). She has performed roles in numerous theatrical productions at Friends University, including Martha in The Secret Garden (February 2019), Mama Murphy in Bright Star (November 2019), Prince Orlofsky in Die Fledermaus (March 2020), and Alcina in George Frideric Handel's Alcina (October 2020). She has also worked with Opera Kansas. Since August 2021, she studies at University of Wisconsin Milwaukee. She has also been Music Instructor at Sam scantlin Music Studio in Riverton, Kansas; Choir Member at St Vincent de Paul (since September 2017); Student Advisor at Friends University (since July 2019); and Graduate Teaching Assistant at University of Wisconsin Milwaukee (since August 2021). |
