Adriana Sanabria Lorenzo (Soprano, Choral Conductor)

Born: Cuba

The Cuban soprano and choral conductor, Adriana Sanabria Lorenzo, graduated from the ISA de Cuba in the choral and orchestral conducting; she also completed a master's degree in Orchestral Conducting at the UV. She has taken classes with teachers such as Digna Guerra, Carlos Aransay, Jorma Panula, Leo Kraemer, and Lanfranco Marceletti.

Adriana Sanabria Lorenzo has directed the youth symphony orchestras of the ENA and the ISA of Havana. She was Assistant Director of the Coro Nacional de Cuba (Cuban National Choir), Director of the Coro Juvenil de Cuba (Cuban Youth Choir), founder and director of the Coro de Cámara De Profundis (De Profundis chamber choi)r. She has participated in the Oregon Bach Festival in the USA as well as in different venues in Germany, France and Poland.

As a soprano Adriana Sanabria Lorenzo has performed the roles of Antigua from La Tabernera del Puerto, Cio-Cio San in Madama Butterfly, and she has sung as a solo soprano of L.v. Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 with the Orquesta Sinfónica de Xalapa. She currently conducts the Orfeón and Infantil choirs of the ISMEV.
