Patryk Kacper Rybarczyk (Baritone)

Born: 1994 - Naklo nad Notecia, Poland

The Polish baritone, Patryk Kacper Rybarczyk, began his music education at the age of 10 studying piano. He later enrolled as a student at the Music School in Gorzow Wielkopolski where he began his first singing lessons under the direction of Beata Gramza. He furthered his education at the Academy of Music in Bydgoszcz and at the Academy of Music in Poznan where he sang both choral and solo works. He was the baritone soloist in the premiere of Grzegorz Duchnowski's Veni Creator with Gorzow Philharmonic Orchestra. In addition to this, he sang in the choir of Henry Purcell’s Dido and Aeneas at the Theatre Wielki in Poznan. In 2014, he continued his studies at the Hochschule für Musik in Nuremberg, first as a student under Elisabeth Scholl and later under Johannes Mannov and Jan Hammar.

Patryk Rybarczyk made his solo stage debut in the Hochschule’s production of W.A. Mozart's Cosi fan tutte in the role of Guglielmo and subsequently made other various stage appearances, including, Herr von Wernthal in Detlev Glanert's Scherz, Satire, Ironie und tiefere Bedeutung at the Stadttheater Fürth and Proband in Enno Poppe's IQ at the Staatstheater Nürnberg.

Patryk Rybarczyk’s accolades include placing in the semifinals of the Telemann Competition in Magdeburg and participating in the 5th Weimar Bach Cantata Academy, where he performed various J.S. Bach's cantatas and a cappella choir repertoire under the direction of Helmuth Rilling and Kathy Saltzman Romey. He also participated in the International Stuttgart Bach Academy in 2019 and 2020 where he performed in the JSB Ensemble working with Hans-Christoph Rademann and Jos van Veldhoven.

Patryk Rybarczyk frequently sings as a soloist, mostly performing chamber music and secular works. Since 2019 he is a member of the Dresdner Kammerchor (Director: Hans-Christoph Rademann).
