Wolfgang Rusch (Conductor)

Born: Germany

The German condutor, Wolfgang Rusch, had received comprehensive musical training (piano, organ, tuning), before working for for 18 years as a director/conductor of a church choirs. Later he supplemented his musical studies, apart from his law studies, with orchestra conducting, singing (Professor Maria Friesenhausen) and choir singing (Professor Hofbauer).

Wolfgang Rusch leads the Madrigalchor Recklinghausen since 1995. As a choir and orchestra conductor he has a rich concert experience, whereby beside the works the Mozart and Haydn he performs the vocal and instrumental music of J.S. Bach. His artistic work is documented by his first recording of Weihnachts-Oratorium BWV 248.
