The American soprano and choral conductor, Terrie McKenzie Preskitt-Brown, studied Vocal Performance/Music Education at Texas Christian University (1974-1980), graduating magna cum laude.
Terrie Preskitt-Brown has been active in the music community of Greater Dallas for many years. Her career has included Choral Directing at all levels (elementary through adult), teaching in public schools, serving as the Associate Director of Music at Highland Park United Methodist Church (September 2004-September 2018), Voice Teaching and Professional Singing in this area, the USA and Europe. She has worked as Teacher at Garland ISD (June 1996-2004); Concert II Chorus Conductor at Children's Chorus of Greater Dallas (August 2002-May 2022); Owner at TPB Health (since April 2021); Principal Conductor at Greater Dallas Choral Society (since June 2022). |
