Oklahoma Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra (Chamber Orchestra)

Founded: February 2017 - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, USA

Composed of eighteen virtuosic string instrumentalists (violin, viola, cello, and bass), Oklahoma Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra (= OVCO) is a unique group of musicians collaborating as a standing, conductor-less ensemble. They are innovative and energetic professional musicians with active careers in the Oklahoma City Metro area, and are honored to share our love of excellent music-making. They believe that their strong rapport and captivating intensity will communicate directly to each member of their audience with excitement, inspiration, and creativity.

OVCO'’s vision is to provide increased exposure to the arts by partnering with other fine arts organizations to deliver new musical experiences based on classical and non-classical ideas. Their approach is to be flexible in programming and genres. Attending an Oklahoma Virtuosi performance provide their audience with a fresh and riveting concert-going experience.
