The American bass, Joseph Mitchell, started his musical career in the 6th grade, playing trumpet in his hometown of Belen, New Mexico. He soon found a passion for singing and received his Bachelor of Music Education degree with a vocal emphasis from University of New Mexico in 2017.
Joseph Mitchell is currently the choir and exploratory music teacher at Tres Volcanes Community Collaborative School within APS. He is also the bass section leader of Coro Lux and is thrilled to be singing again with the New Mexico Philharmonic. |
