Min-Woo Lim (Tenor)

Born: Seoul, South Korea

The Korean tenor, Min-Woo Lim (Korean: 임민우), first studied in theology at Sungkyul University Graduate School of Theology (성결대학교 신학대학원) (MDiv in Theology: 2009-2012) and at Seoul Theological University Graduate School of Theology (서울신학대학교 신학대학원) (Master of Theology: March 2012-February 2014). Then trained as a singer at the Korean National University of Arts. He went on to study at the Freiburg Musikhochschule in Germany.

Min-Woo Lim's repertoire includes Lieder by Robert Schumann, Wolf and others and he has also established a reputation in oratorio. He has taught since 2010 at the Korean National Arts University in Seoul, where he made his début in the same year as Ernesto in Don Pasquale.
