Mengran Jia (Mezzo-soprano)

Born: December 18, ____ - Taiyuan, Shanxi, China

The Chines mezzo-soprano, Mengran Jia, obtained her Bachelor degree in English from Xiamen University of Technology. She studied Voice - Classical at the Manhattan School of Music in New York (August 2017-2019). She sang to role of Bradamante in the Music Academy International Young Artists production of George Frideric Handel's Alcina at Trentino Music Festival in Mezzano, Trento, Italy (August 2018); and the role of La Maestra delle Novizie in Manhattan School of Music Opera Theater production of Giacomo Puccini’s Suor Angelica (December 2018).
