Manon Heyne (Soprano)

Born: August 8, 1964 - Wormerveer, the Netherlands

The Dutch soprano and singing teacher, Manon Heyne [Heijne], tudied singing at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag (Royal Conservatoire in The Hague) and graduated in 1991, receiving special recognition. She is currently completing her Master of Arts degree in Vocal Master Classical Music at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag (2015-2017).

Manon Heyne participated in various productions with De Nederlandse Opera, including Die Glückliche Hand by Arnold Schoenberg, Life with an Idiot by Schnittke and Broken Strings by Param Vir. She performed regularly with the Nederlands Kamerkoor in early, classical and modern music projects. As a soloist she has her own ensemble, specialising in 20th century repertoire.

Manon Heyne has been a teacher at the Royal Conservatoire since 1994. She currently lives in Zaandam, the Netherlands,
