Ensemble dell'Accademia Ducale (Instrumental Ensemble)

Founded: Pietragalla, Potenza, Italy

The Ensemble dell’Accademia Ducale, with variable size, is made up of musicians with excellent chamber and orchestral experience, whose training is also enriched by international artistic experiences. The repertoire ranges from music of the Baroque period, to original compositions for small and medium ensembles, both by past and contemporary composers, to adaptations for the ensemble of symphonic pieces and concerts for solo instrument and orchestra, up to the existing contemporary music or compositions written ad hoc for the ensemble. Particular attention is paid to the Ibero-American Baroque on which the Study Center of the 'Accademia Ducale is carrying out extensive research. The ensemble is also available for registrations and external collaborations.
