Lancelot Dubois (Bass)

Born: August 11, 1979 - Paris, France

The Farench bass and composer, Lancelot Dubois, began his music studies at the age of five. He studied choral singing, traverse flute, chamber music, harmony, music analysis, counterpoint, music history, voice and choral direction in several Parisian conservatories or in Ile de France including the CNRs of Paris and Versailles and the Conservatoire of Paris (CNSMDP).

Lancelot Dubois has created music for vocal ensembles such as Mikrokosmos and Apostoph’, as well as for the instrumental ensemble Paris de Vents. CEPRAVOI and the Châteauroux’s Vocal Festival commissioned him works.

In addition to his work as a composer, Lancelot Dubois also plays the flute and sings and taught formal musical training in the Maurice Ravel and the Claude Debussy Conservatories(13th and 17th Arrondissements in Paris). Hae currently lives in Paris, France.
