Cécile Dibon (Soprano)

Born: September 1973 - Saintes, France

The French soprano, Cécile Dibon-Lafarge, began learning music in 1978 at the age of 6 with piano and received her musical training at the Conservatoire National de Région (CNR) of Limoges where she took singing lessons with Henriette Chrysostome . In 1992, she entered the singing courses of CNR Lyon where she won the gold medal of chamber music, history of music in 1995 and finally singing in 1998. The same year, she entered the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique (CNSM) of Lyon in the class of Brian Parsons then Isabelle Germani until 2003, year during which she won the Diplôme National d’Études Supérieures de Musique (National Diploma of Higher Studies of Music).

Cécile Dibon had the opportunity to sing as soloist under the direction of Joël Suhubiette, being also a member of his ensemble Les Éléments. In Lyon where she lives, she sings under the direction of Bernard Tetu in the ensemble Les Solistes de Lyon which offers chamber music productions. she is also solo soprano in oratorio concerts, under the direction of Karine Locatelli in the Ensemble Vocal de Valence and Étienne Meyer with the Camerata de Bourgogne.
