Adolfo Corrado (Bass-Baritone)

Born: 1994 - Lecce, Lecce Province, Apulia Region, Italy

The Italian bass, Adolfo Corrado, theatrically trained in the "School of theatrical and cinematographic acting" by Augusto Zucchi in Rome. Later on he began his musical studies at the music conservatory "Tito Schipa" in Lecce where he refined his skills thanks to Maestro Gianluca Belfiori. He continued with his training as a young artist of the Young Artist Project in the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino. He took part in several master-classes including those with: Ildebrando D'Arcangelo; Michele Pertusi; Luca Salsi; Eva Mei; Alessandro Corbelli; Bruno De Simone; M. Pais; R. Polastri; F. Micheli; F. Ceresa; R. Barker; M. D'Elia; M. Errico; J. Mannov; Maria Dragoni.

He won the XLIX Edition of the International Competition TOTI DAL MONTE 2021, and he got the role of Don Pasquale in the homonymous opera by G. Donizetti. He won the LXXXIII Edition of the international Competition As.Li.Co. 2022, and he got the role of Leporello in the W.A. Mozart's Don Giovanni; Absolute winner for the “Opera Singing” category of the 1st International Music Competition “Premio Vittoria De Donno”.
