The American soprano, Michelle Clair, obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Fine/Studio Arts, General and Music from University of California, Santa Cruz (1992-1996). She is a member of Schola Cantorum San Francisco (Director: Paul Flight), Chalice Consort (Director: Davitt Moroney) and American Bach Soloists (Director: Jeffrey Thomas).

Michelle Clair has worked as Senior Pressman, Letterpress at Julie Holcomb Printers in San Francisco (September 1996-September 1999); Production Manager at Tenazas Design in San Francisco (November 1999-December 2001); Senior Production Manager at Chronicle Books in San Francisco (since December 2001). She currently lives in San Francisco, California.
