The Mexican baritone singer and double-bass player, Daniel Cerón, graduated with degree in music with an option in double-bass from the Universidad Veracruzana. He received second place in the PALCCO opera contest in 2020 held in Guadalajara, Jal.
Daniel Cerón was a founding member of the Orquesta Sinfónica de San Luis Potosí, where he served as double-bass player from 2000 to 2009. He then was a member of the Coro de la Universidad Veracruzana from 2010 to 2014 and double-bass player of the Orquesta de Cámara del Estado de Zacatecas from 2014 to 2018. He has collaborated in the interpretation of great works such as W.A. Mozart and Gabriel Fauré's Requiem, Camille Saint-Saëns' Christmas Oratorio, J.S. Bach's Magnificat (BWV 243), L.v. Beethoven's Mass in C major, Johannes Brahms' A German Requiem and George Frideric Handel's Messiah. In 2018 he released his first record entitled "Entre tango, bolero y danzón" alongside the Fiatte Ssira Quartet, where he performs as a singer and double-bass player. |
