The American bass singer, choral conductor and voices teacher, Patrick Callaghan, obtained his Bachelor of Music Education degree in Choral/General Music from University of Wisconsin-River Falls (2003-2007); his Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff (August 2010-May 2012); his Graduate Certificate in Vocal Pedagogy from University of Kentucky (August 2013-2014); and his Doctor of Musical Arts in Choral Conducting from University of Kentucky (June 2012-August 2015), where he was Assistant Conductor of University of Kentucky Chorale, University of Kentucky Women's Choir and University of Kentucky Men's Chorus.
Patrick Callaghan has served as K-12 Music and ESL Teacher at Inver Grove Heights Community Schools in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota (August 2007-July 2008); Voice Teacher at Colorado Music Studios in Colorado Springs (September 2008-May 2010); Director of Choirs at Vista Ridge High School - Falcon School District 49 in Colorado Springs (June 2008-August 2010); Voice Instructor at Northern Arizona University Community Music and Dance Academy in Flagstaff (December 2010-July 2011); Minister of Music at Providence Christian Church in Nicholasville, Kentucky (July 2012-August 2014); Assistant Professor, Choir Instructor/Voice at Cameron University in Lawton, Oklahoma (July 2014-May 2017); Director of Choral Acitivities and Voice at San Jacinto College in Houston, Texas (since August 2017); Music Director at First United Methodist Church in La Porte, Texas (since July 2019) |
