María José Brañes (Soprano)

Born: Chile

The Chilean soprano, María José Brañes González, obtainhed her Bachelor of Music degree in Lyrical Singing. from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2003); her Bachelor of Arts degree in Linguistics and Hispanic Literature from Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2003); her Extension Diploma in Documentary Studies of the Colony from Universidad de (Chile 2008); her Master of Arts degree in Literature mention. Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile (2006); and her Doctorate in Literature, mention in Chilean and Hispano-American Literature from Universidad de Chile (2015).

María José Brañes serves as Assistant Professor at Facultad de Letras de Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. She also performs occassionaly a a soprano singer.
