Diana Bucur (Soprano)

Born: January 29___ - Iasi, Romania

The Romanian soprano, Andreea Diana Bucur-Blidariu, graduated from the “Ciprian Porumbescu” State Conservatory in Chisinau in 1993, in the class of Professor Mihail Munteanu and the “George Enescu” University of Arts in Iași, singing department, in 1998, in the class of Professor Mioara Cortez.

Diana Bucur started her artistic activity as a member in the choir of the Romanian National Opera in Iași, and in 1999 she became a soloist of the same institution. In 2015 she performed Marius Herea’s works Genesis, Elegy and Extracts from his Opera with the Ploiesti Philharmonic Orchestra, under the baton of Ovidiu Balan.
