Silje Strand Blichfeldt (Mezzo-soprano, Choral Conductor)

Born: Tingvoll, Norway

The Norewegian mezzo-soprano and choral conductor, Silje Strand Blichfeldt, has a master's degree in music pedagogy and has extensive experience in choral conducting. She is the conductor of the Bergen Kirkelige Fellesråd (since September 2003) and teacher at Osterøy vidaregåande skule in Lonevåg, Hordaland. She is also a talented singer with a background from both choir and small ensemble and a skilled flutist.
