Radio-Orchester Beromünster (Orchestra)

In 1957 the Studio-Orchester Beromünster was renamed to Radio-Orchester Beromünster with an increased number of then 59 musicians and Erich Schmid as first conductor. The orchestra existed until 1970 when it was moved to Basel and renamed to Radio-Sinfonieorchester Basel.
