Kate Banfield-Rickard is a musician, performer and horse riding instructor based in the South West. She has lived in Cornwall her whole life. Growing up, she was involved with the local youth orchestras, wind bands and choirs, and performing has continued to be an important part of her life. She provides the following services in Cornwall and across the South West: wedding music and private functions; music and singing lessons. Although classically trained as a singer and flautist, she enjoys performing all styles of music, particularly traditional Celtic folk, and I am one half of folk duo Bedlam Bess together with professional singer and teacher Sue King. As well as her performing work, she also works as a freelance music teacher from her home in South West Cornwall, offering lessons in flute, singing, music theory and basic piano skills. |
